We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our Surgery and Neurology team. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care--with the desire to make them happen.
As an assistant in this department, your primary duties will assisting our two board-certified neurologists running their appointments. You should be comfortable with recording patient histories, TPRs, restraint during exams, discussing treatment plans and reviewing estimates with clients, and assisting with radiographs and blood drawls.
In addition to excellent client communication and organizational skills, you should have at least one year of experience as a veterinary assistant.
This position currently requires Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, but this schedule is subject to the needs of the hospital.
