Rare HEAVY Bullicante Bubble Murano Glass heart Bowl, Italy, 1970s midcentury modern panton eames era
Bullicante: This is applied to very thick glass. It consists of overlaying several layers of air bubbles in a grid pattern within the vitreous wall. This mass is then pulled with the blowpipe which creates tiny depressions imprinted in a regular pattern on its surface.
An elegant emerald green Murano glass bowl utilizing the bullicante technique of controlled bubbles within the glass. It is unmarked.
The piece has a clear bubbled edge, which has foiled glass inside the bubbles.
This is a wonderful decorative bowl and very collectible. It is in very good vintage condition some slight traces of use with some light scuffs on the base.
Measures about 7”
