DLS is currently seeking an organized, driven, team-oriented Human Resources and Contracts Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support for day-to-day operations of human resources and contracts administration, ensure the timely changes and updates, support business initiatives and implementations, effectively work with multicultural teams and incorporate our values by providing great customer service, effective communication, and helping with additional duties as assigned.
Position will ultimately report to DLS' main office and school in Rosslyn, with full telework to start due to COVID-19 pandemic.
-Support human resources department by processing new hire paperwork and providing day-to-day assistance to employees;
-Make all necessary employee status changes and associated payroll changes in Paycom and Salesforce;
-Track the performance appraisal process, informing managers when reviews are due and following up as appropriate;
-Assist with open enrollment and benefits administration;
-Review, process monthly reports, and monitor ACA compliance;
-Help with audits, mandatory reporting, and compliance updates;
-Complete employment verifications and unemployment claims;
-Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance;
-Perform full life cycle contracts administration;
-Record and disseminate information regarding contract modifications, deviations, negotiations, and completion or termination;
-Process contracts, subcontracts, and task orders;
-Prepare contract briefs and update related operational systems.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field;
-2+ years of relevant HR/contracts administration/coordination experience;
-Experience working in a government contracting environment;
-Excellent interpersonal and trouble-shooting skills;
-Capacity to manage time to meet tight deadlines;
-Proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
-Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), data entry, HRIS, and reporting;
-Experience with researching and interpreting FAR clauses;
-Knowledge of contracting concepts;
-Ability to use independent judgment in researching and reviewing contract issues.
-SHRM-CP or PHR certification strongly preferred;
-Federal government contract training a plus.
