Job Description:
HalalWay Supermarket is hiring a reliable, motivated, hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily store and floor operations. This is an active leadership role, not a desk job. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, take responsibility, and help wherever needed to keep the store running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open or close the store during assigned shifts
• Supervise and support floor staff
• Handle shipments and deliveries
• Stock, restock, and organize aisles
• Perform regular aisle checks (cleanliness, pricing, expiration dates)
• Maintain store cleanliness (clean when necessary)
• Assist customers and confidently answer product questions
• Resolve basic customer issues on the floor
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are neat and organized
• Follow store procedures and help enforce standards
Training & Growth:
• Full training will be provided
• Must be willing to learn product knowledge, store layout, and procedures
• Must be open to coaching and improvement

Requirements:
• Dependable, punctual, and responsible
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable working long shifts when scheduled
• Grocery, retail, or supervisory experience preferred (not required)
• Able to multitask and take initiative
• Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and work on the floor
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and staff
