The Marketing and Communications Associate is responsible for managing marketing, communications, and brand awareness for the US division of an international organization. This role supports the global marketing team, executive team members, and the sales team through content creation on social media platforms, monitoring email campaign results, and assisting with lead generation including trade show events.
Job Duties for Marketing and Communications Associate:
-Perform day-to-day email marketing tasks including campaign set-up, designing, scheduling, testing, and deploying newsletters and social media posts
-Develop written content for email marketing and social media posts
-Monitor marketing performance and generate analytics reports to assess delivery and campaign efficiency.
-Recommend marketing best practices to internal team, including global division
-Plan for trade show events including registration and travel, branded booth set up, branded printed marketing materials and giveaways
-Work in conjunction with sales team to manage lead generation from marketing campaigns including inputting information to CRM database, updating contact information, and ensuring follow up with appropriate contact
-Manage vendor relationship with external PR agencies for press releases or news articles as needed

Job Qualifications for Marketing and Communications Associate:
-Completed Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university
-2-3 years of previous professional marketing & communications experience
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Strong experience with email service providers such as Hootsuite, Marketo, Hubspot, or equivalent.
-Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects
-Ability to work independently and to collaborate with team members and executives
-Excellent communication skills
-Resourceful and analytical when making decisions
-Strong attention-to-detail and writing skills
