Pretty clean and straight. We believe it is fir due to its weight (as a 1" thickness) and the wood grain.

As you can see, the t & g joints are beaded and it includes the two hinges. We salvaged this out of a log cabin re-built post-civil war and believe this to be added later when a room was divided into two bedrooms.
