The Groove Tubes GT-12AY7 injects your guitar amplifier with the sound of an early Fender. Substitute this low-gain preamp tube for a 12AX7, and you'll experience slightly lower gain and increased warmth. This tube is right at home for blues, where a softer, more compressed distortion is desired. It sounds great for harp, too! The GT-12AY7 was designed and tested for music instrument amplification and has long been standard equipment on Fender amps.
