Was purchased new in 2015'. It is sonically the loudest and fullest acoustic guitar I've ever heard. The value will continue to go up as this model was retired in 2018' due to it's MSRP of 5k. It's basically an HD28 with more inlays and VS stands for vintage series. aged wood etc. Top of the Martin lineup.

The HD-28VS features Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood sides, and East Indian Rosewood back.
