The Yamaha YAS - 23 is a highly regarded, discontinued, Japanese-made student alto saxophone known for excellent, consistent intonation with a warm sound. Often considered a "legendary" student horn for its durability and, smooth, easy-to-repair key action. Featuring a yellow brass body and nickel-plated keys. The YAS - 23 is frequently recommended over newer, cheaper models due to its superior build quality and long-lasting, repairable nature.

Perfect for advanced student, school band students, or as a reliable, affordable backup instrument. My son moved to Tenor so we have no need for the Alto. Stop wasting your money on inferior rentals



Condition:

Horn is in mint condition, very little pad wear and cork is in excellent condition. Recently serviced at L&L Brass and Woodwinds in Germantown. Needs nothing. Includes a Yamaha mouthpiece, a strap, a Yamaha hard case in fair condition and a soft case that that can be worn as a back-pack or carried like a suitcase.
