[NO JAMS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: CORONAVIRUS] Come on out and share a tune - or learn a new one - with the Capital Area Bluegrass and Oldtime Music Association (CABOMA) as we jam on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month!
Location: Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington, 4444 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22204.
Time: 2-6 PM outside or indoors in the basement of the building.
At most jams, you will find a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to professional musicians. What we have in common is that we are all about traditional bluegrass and old time music instruments and music.
If it's in the picture, and it's played 100% acoustically, it's absolutely welcome. But if you know what you're doing on your instrument, and you understand how to use it in a bluegrass context, even if it's not pictured, it could be great - Don't be shy, give it a try!
CABOMA is a non-profit organization and is not affiliated with the church except that they are our gracious host! We are dedicated to preserving and promoting bluegrass and old-time music. We play acoustic bluegrass, old-time, country, western swing, and a touch of the blues. Our sole purpose is to provide a consistent place for members to jam, twice-monthly, rain or shine.

Nine Pound Hammer, Bringing Mary Home, Wabash Cannonball, Whitehouse Blues, Footprints In The Snow,
