Company Profile: M3 Technology Consultants, a growing IT Managed Service Provider in Centreville, Virginia, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support the Administrative & Service Teams. Our clients range from professional service firms to non-profit organizations. Our services range from basic IT support and Helpdesk to network engineering and strategic planning.

Position Profile: Our firm is seeking a Procurement Specialist with 2 years or more of experience working in Business or Financial Management. This position requires daily interaction with staff and clients so excellent communication skills and previous experience in a similar environment are required. The individual must have experienced business acumen to understand the business and with business goals. They must also exhibit a high level of business knowledge and be able to apply this to the company’s business needs and challenges.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Process purchase requests
• Maintain & update system documentation throughout procurement process
• Receive equipment and schedule delivery
• Process RMAs and ensure credits or replacements are received
• Maintain all aspects of ConnectWise and QuickBooks financial tools
• Assist with invoicing and collections
• Assist with Accounts Payable
• Follow up with vendors, clients and staff regarding purchase requests
• Communication with staff and customers to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction

• Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Business awareness: specific knowledge of the customer and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customer's needs
• Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
• Responsible for entering time and expenses

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Preferred:
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related Business field
• Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly
• Keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided
• Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
• Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details
• Desktop software such as Microsoft Office Suites
• PSA tools such as ConnectWise or Autotask
• Financial management software such as QuickBooks
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast moving environment
• Current driver's license, insurance and automobile
• US Citizen and willing to take a drug test and undergo a background check

Employment Type: PT Approximately 20 hours per week
