Job Description:
Farias Electrical Contractors is a well-established, quality-oriented, and growing commercial electrical contractor based in Fairfax, VA. We specialize in small to medium-sized commercial electrical projects.
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our team in the successful execution of multiple projects across Washington D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and print panel schedules.
Upload and maintain contracts, drawings, and other project documents in Procore.
Track rentals and material deliveries, updating Airtable accordingly.
Create project-specific WhatsApp groups.
Manage invitations to bid and update Airtable as required.
Prepare project cost estimates.
Assist in resolving day-to-day project issues.
Handling materials deliveries.
Collaborate with other departments on projects as needed.
Attend training sessions as required.
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Airtable, Procore, or similar tools.
Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Customer-service oriented.
Open to feedback, eager to learn, and willing to undergo training as needed.
