Construction Project Coordinator (fairfax)

We are a demolition company operating in Northern Virginia for over 25 years currently seeking an experienced project coordinator to join our team.

Please note that in response to COVID-19 we have a dedicated office with a separate entrance/exit designated for this position. We occupy a large single story office building with multiple access points. All current employees are working in isolated spaces and we have office procedures established in accordance with all CDC requirements and precautions.

Job Description:
- Assist PM with project related responsibilities
- Set up new projects and complete assigned tasks until project completion
- Prepare, organize and update project information for field employees
- Maintain various logs that track project tasks and updates
- Correspond with customers and subcontractors
- Maintain electronic and paper filing of project documents

Requirements:
- Must have prior experience (5+ yrs) working at a construction company
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Specifically EXCEL)
- Experience with Miss Utility
- Experience with obtaining construction permits
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Ability to think critically and prioritize work tasks
- Strong work ethic, high level professionalism and "can-do" attitude
- Strong communication skills
