Office Administration for Restaurant Group (Occoquan)

compensation: Competitive salary based on skill level and experience

Restaurant Group is hiring a full-time office admin for its restaurant group (currently 4 locations). The optimal person has a friendly, positive, forward-thinking, "can do!" personality with understanding of and in Point of Sale, Social Media, A/P and overall accounting functions. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required. Position requires a high degree of accuracy, organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality, software program for restaurants, in house training provided.

Will train the right person!

Responsibilities:

Process daily sales entries, A/P, Pay taxes and vendor invoices in a timely manner, Work with vendors regarding invoice related issues.
Process bi-weekly payroll with payroll company
Calculate, prepare and pay monthly sales tax returns in timely fashion
Ability to work with POS System (and Restaurant Manager) and Microsoft Office to prepare schedules, reports
Create and maintain analytical reporting for each location
Provide clerical and admin support where needed, new hire paperwork, filing & mail collection/distribution
Other miscellaneous office duties as directed by owners/managers
Strong Organizational skills, flexibility and ability to adapt quickly a must
Experience: Restaurant Bookkeeping (Preferred-but not required)
