I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt with only 50,900 miles on it,
good reliable 2.2 engine, good transmission, good sub-frame all around, no rust,
new rear shocks, new brakes, good tires, new TPMS still on the box, didn't even got to install them,
my soon crashed it against the median barrier on the first snow of the winter, no biggie, but because the cars aren't what just to be, so, the front is gone, as seen in the pictures,
the plastic airbox broke,
it will also need: Hood, Grille, Metal bumper support, Plastic bumper cover, Fan shroud, Upper radiator support = tie bar where the hood latches.
passenger fender may be repairable,
the engine starts, there are NO leaks on the cooling NO leaks on the oil systems, NO leaks at all and the air bags did NOT deploy,
I got a quote: 1,500$ on metal work and paint,
I'm looking for a cheap Cobalt that I can use for the required parts,
I have seen some in PA, for 500$, where they have bad engine or bad transmission or are rusted out beyond repair,
but here I'm testing the waters to see if someone wants mine, as I have many cars and many projects.
thank you for your time.
