My younger brother received this motor from an online JDM motor dealer who said that there are around 45,000 miles on the motor. This model he actually received by mistake so it was never installed by him. He ordered an 04 motor and received this one instead (dealer's mistake.) The motor dealer sent the new motor but didn't want this one back from what I understand.

It has been sitting in a covered area (under deck, sealed so no water gets through from rain, etc.) so it hasn't been exposed to rain but it was stored sometimes in cold weather. The clutch assembly has oxidized a bit from sitting (been sitting for around 3 years.) Generally, you want to replace this when you're swapping motors anyways since they aren't that expensive and cost a lot to replace later once the motor is in the car.

The replacement motor he got ran pretty well when it was installed so seems like a trustworthy dealer even though this one has never been ran by us. You are welcome to do any reasonable test on it (such as turning the engine with a wrench and doing a compression test but don't really want people tearing the motor to pieces and leaving me with a disassembled engine so please be reasonable with this.)

Selling this for my dad who is currently storing the motor. This is being sold as-is with no warranty/guarantees.

$1,700 or best offer.
