The project included web redesign, content restructuring, and optimization of a complex, decision-based questionnaire tool.

Created new member value and benefits for AARP, the world's largest membership organization. New products conceived, researched, tested in-market, and launched include innovative lifelong learning programs, health apps and services, technology aids, personal development resources, family offerings, and more.
--Developed and launched an auto buying service as a new member benefit that will conservatively generate $1M annually for the AARP Foundation. In partnership with TrueCar.com, the program was developed to bring rationality to the car buying process, save Member's money, and generate revenue for the association.
--Developed numerous concepts for new AARP member benefits in a wide variety of verticals: aging in place products and services, health, personal technology, personal development, education/lifelong learning, online security, real estate, and more. Concepts were developed through a rigorous process of formal and informal ideation, qualitative and quantitative research, and in-market testing.
--LifeTuner.org: Developed a state-of-the-art personal finance website, an AARP start-up project focused on "Millennials" (the 20-40 age range) as an earlier introduction to AARP: LifeTuner.org. This community website brought money experts and users together to help improve their financial lives and futures. Strategic and tactical responsibility for the conceptualization and development of all website features, a full suite of Web 2.0 functionality and content including the ability to ask questions of personal finance experts.

Operated and continuously refined E-LOAN's (www.eloan.com) state-of-the-art consumer lending ecommerce website, a pioneering effort to bring consumer advocacy to the lending/mortgage industries.
--Presided over tripling of website conversion (unique visitors-to-loan applications, with funding increase from 5,000 to 15,000 loans per year from 2002-2006) during 4+ years. These significant gains were achieved by means of website redesign, upgraded tools and content, and restructuring of the website functional processes (loan rate searches and loan applications).
--Defined product planning (new loan products) and website feature development--including design and UI--in order to maximize functionality and loan revenue generation. Managed all collaborative team members in this process, from business units to product managers and web designers to developers to marketers.

Created the world's first family-focused website portal (www.MyFamily.com, a division of Ancestry.com), an effort to merge information/learning and ecommerce around a wide set of products and services of particular interest to families: health, travel/recreation, technology, school, relationships, and more. In this highly cross-functional position, worked with development, content, product marketing, business development, ad sales, marketing, and creative teams to launch the company's revenue-generating vertical content channels initiative as the primary means of monetizing the site--with profit-and-lost accountability.
--Created website content, features, and tools which helped to increase online family registration from zero to 70,000 families in the first year of site operation.
--Directed the development of rich and compelling content channels by creating and acquiring content, tools, and special user features.
