Homecare Electronics Sales Expert - Part Time (Tysons)

ActionLink has an exiting new opportunity for someone to join our Sales Demonstration Team! We are seeking an engaging individual who will enjoy creating a quality service environment in a local company-branded demo store.

Our Homecare Electronics Demo Expert is responsible for executing retail sales strategies to promote one of our top global clients and their premier brand of floor care, air movement, and seasonal air treatment products.  The Sales Expert is tasked with showcasing these items to customers and explaining all the cutting-edge reasons why they are the best in the industry! If selected, you will assess your customers' homecare needs, answer their tech-related questions, and provide live demonstrations of the products' innovative mechanical features that will improve their cleaning routines and keep their homes fresh and comfortable.

SCHEDULE:

  • 28 hours each week
  • 4 days of 7 hour shifts: 2 days of availability needed between Monday-Thursday, and 2 days of availability needed between Friday-Sunday
  • **Please Note: This is a temporary piloted position running through January 31st, 2022; however, the position is going to be reevaluated at that time and there may be potential for permanent retention if it has been making a strong enough impact to the business**

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • $500 Signing Bonus ($150 paid out after 30 days, $150 paid out after 60 days, and $200 paid out after 90 days of first in-store shift)

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Participate in web-based training courses and videos to learn proprietary product information
  • Build strong rapport with store staff to establish productive relationships
  • Proactively approach customers to engage them throughout the sales process, from greeting to closing the sale
  • Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate products
  • Maintain in-store displays, product stocking, and merchandising 
  • Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback, observations, and submitting customer and store photos
  • Maintain business communication with District Manager via occasional phone calls, web meetings, and/or emails

ARE YOU A MATCH?

  • Sales, retail, product demonstration, or relevant customer relations experience required
  • Enthusiastic and engaging attitude with superior interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups
  • Access to reliable transportation to commute to local store
  • Access to a smart device for reporting
