*Two furnished rooms for rent with street parking & a shared reserved spot. Images show everything that comes with rooms. Close to parks, W and O trail, Rt 28, only 10 min from the airport. We're seeking a mature professional adult with life experience. Someone who has lived in the past with males and females outside their family unit. It's extremely important that you are someone who avoids drama and is a laid-back person without the use of drugs or alcohol. We are seeking a 6 mth lease but can do less. This is very much like a border situation, you will have access to the kitchen, Bathrooms, and Laundry. We would prefer a business professional, preferably 30 + yrs old (I'm really looking for a daytime worker M-F no shift workers, especially restaurant workers please) will consider night workers.
This is an ideal location that is close to every large corporation (Data centers) in the Dulles area (5 min from rt 28) as well as Dulles airport! We are also close to parks, the W and O trail for running and biking and the golf course
*The rooms do not have their own private bathrooms, but we make sure that everyone is on a different schedule so that there are no issues. This situation requires that everyone keeps the bathroom very clean and is understanding about this request.
*This is a pet friendly home but unfortunately, we don't have the space for more pets. I have two kitty girls who are very friendly so having someone who likes animals is a must.
*There is also NO real communal area in this home except for in the kitchen where you can do some light cooking and eating in the kitchen or the backyard when the weather is nice.
*The refrigerator isn't a big frig so it might not be ideal for someone who buys a lot of food because they love to cook all the time.
*This is a clean, quiet, safe home in a very family-oriented neighborhood
*The ideal person for this situation would be someone who is always on the go, who isn't a smoker (ever) (no drugs) or a drinker. For years now this has been a perfect situation for our government contractors who move here and have a family in another state. Other things that COME WITH renting the rooms:
kitchen privileges for light cooking (limited storage space) you will have access to most everything in the kitchen so you won’t need dishes
Laundry privileges
Internet TV
WIFI
Close to Golf Course, Bike Path and Park
Things we ARE NOT looking for:
*Someone who only needs the room for a month, we need someone for at least 4-6 mths
*A language barrier, we unfortunately don't speak any other languages and would feel horrible for someone in a situation like an emergency
*Someone who wants to hang out and party (this means no drugs or excessive drinking in or out of the home) We’re past the drama of those days, if this is what you are into at this time you should be living with like-minded people.
*Someone who has an animal and wants to bring them and leave them locked up in their room (we have 2 kittens so anymore animals would be utter chaos)
*I get bad headaches regularly and I'm effected by strong lingering odors from cooking, so this is why we only approved LIGHT cooking
*Late night cooking on the stove or toaster oven after 8pm isn’t preferred for safety reasons (microwave is fine)
*No Couples- space will not accommodate
*No Children (because of close quarters on the 2nd floor divorced parents with visitation won't work out for that person)
*Someone who has a significant other that wants to come over and hang out all the time or stay the night, our home is too small to have guest/visitors we also respect everyone's privacy on the second floor where all the bedrooms are. This is very much like a boarding situation.
