We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer that has an extensive history working in a multi-client, Managed Service Provider environment.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience presenting solutions to C Level executives, business owners and stake holders. They will feel equally comfortable leading project meetings and working as part of a technical team to design, build and implement solutions.
This person will have excellent technical, troubleshooting, customer service skills, and will have a “yes I can” attitude. They will be eager to learn and do more as well as share their experiences with other members of the team to strengthen the team. This person will be polished and able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical clients. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience working with a broad range of technologies and solutions including:

• Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V, Server Virtualization
• Microsoft Server 2019, 2016, 2012 and other Operating Systems
• Active Directory Group Policies
• Active Directory Security
• Microsoft O365 and M365
• TCP-IP Networking
• Backup and Disaster Recovery Solutions
• Cisco ASA and Meraki Firewalls, VPNs and Security Solutions
• Cloud Technologies
• Voice Over IP (VOIP) Solutions
• Systems Management Tools

In this role you will be responsible for supporting clients as a member of our high touch team, both on client sites (in the NOVA / DC Metro area) as well as from our office in Dumfries. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and servicing our clients’ networks and critical systems. You will take escalated issues from our Help Desk team as well as provide technical mentorship. You will be exposed to many different technologies. As such, you will not be expected to know everything, but expected to be resourceful in finding solutions.
• Must have previous experience working at an MSP
• Demonstrated technical skillset and experience
• Excellent customer service skills and “can do” attitude
• Highly responsive
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read/speak/write at a high level. The role requires high level written communication skills.

• Reliable transportation
• Background check required
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
• Technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Dell and other top solutions are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of MSP tools - ConnectWise
• Office365 / M365
• Azure / AWS
• Datto
