***FULL TIME/PART TIME SECURITY SUPERVISOR NEEDED-NORTHERN VIRGINIA***

We are currently accepting applications for a full time Security Field Supervisor to manage and oversee several client accounts and locations across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and DC.
The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:
-Training new guards and acclimating them to their assigned client sites
-Managing the company's guard patrol tour system and supervising multiple guards off-site through the -company's patrol system
-Monitor the company's patrol tour system for guards running late, guards who have left their posts, etc.
-Conduct random and routine site visits in-person to supervise guards
-Conduct routine and random inspections of company and client equipment such as patrol vehicles and other company property
-Conduct daily inventory checks of all company equipment both in the office and at client sites
-Check in/out equipment issued to guards and keep track of company equipment
-Order new equipment as necessary
-Maintain the company's fleet of patrol vehicles by ensuring they are free of damage, regularly cleaned, and properly fueled
-Advise the company's management team on security or operational matters
-Discipline guards when company policies are violated
-Fill-in as a substitute guard at the company's various sites in the event a guard is running late or calls out of a shift and other duties as assigned
Full Time Position 1:
This position will be full time. Candidates MUST be available to work on weekends. The hours of this position will often vary, however this position will have a starting schedule as follows:
Tuesdays: 2pm to 10pm
Fridays: 10pm to 6am
Saturdays and Sundays: 6pm to 6am
Part Time Position 2:
This position will be part time. Candidates MUST be available to work on weekends. The hours of this position will often vary, however this position will have a starting schedule as follows:
Saturdays and Sundays: 6am to 6pm
-Candidates must also be available "on-call." Health insurance benefits will be offered for qualifying candidates after a minimum of a 90 day probationary period.
-Candidates must have strong customer service skills and MUST work well with others and in a team environment. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills and be friendly and outgoing, while maintaining strict boundaries with subordinate staff. Candidates must have an aptitude for mentoring and helping others.
-Candidates must be technologically and computer savvy and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.
-Candidates MUST already possess their DCJS Armed security license before applying. Applicants who do not already possess an armed DCJS license will be automatically disqualified without further consideration. Candidates holding additional active security licenses in other jurisdictions such as a Special Police Officer (SPO) license in DC, Maryland and Virginia are strongly preferred, but not required.
-Candidates must also have a minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory experience as a security guard or law enforcement officer. Applications received without verifiable evidence of sufficient supervisory security experience will not be considered. Applicants must also have a stable work history (no "job-hopping") and be prepared to justify gaps in employment history (if applicable).
-Candidates MUST have a clean driving and criminal record, no exceptions. Applicants with excessive traffic violations or any at-fault accidents within the past 36 months on their Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will not be considered for employment. Applicants convicted of any felony or serious misdemeanor offenses will not be eligible.
-Successful candidates must also pass a pre-employment drug screening. Applicants who fail to disclose relevant driving record and/or criminal record information in their application will be automatically disqualified upon the company's thorough background investigation.
Other Required Qualifications:
-At least 21 years of age or older
-Authorized to work in the US
-Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
-High School Diploma or GED equivalent
