The Sales Team Leader, Home Builder Solutions helps clients prepare their homes for future technology needs. Successful Sales Team Leaders have the ability to work well and communicate effectively with others in a team environment, are driven to meet and exceed goals, and are highly motivated to make this division of our business run as efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities

- Assess each client's home technology needs and develop detailed sales proposals
- Follow up on all incoming sales leads from local home builders in a timely manner as directed
- Conduct initial sales appointment with new clients
- Document client interaction in proprietary Customer Relationship Management system
- Prepare electronic client files for handoff to the Production team
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Route sales inquiries to the appropriate team member
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Learn all pre-engineered product options and how they work together
- Produce status reports of work in progress and submit to Sales Manager
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as assigned
- Participate in training and professional development activities

Minimum Requirements

- Daily commute to our offices in Sterling, VA.
- Three years of home technology sales experience
- Drive to exceed sales goals through team leadership
- Be a highly-motivated self starter a passion for success
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to learn new software applications
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Clean criminal record
