As the Sr. Systems Engineer, you will apply technical knowledge in supporting multiple concurrent client integrions with our Enterprise Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) services. You will enjoy learning new concepts and technologies and will brief stus and capabilities to technical and non-technical audiences as you support them throughout their integrion.  

The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applicions. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritive tributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly available ICAM services for protecting those critical mission applicions across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031. 

In this role, you will apply technical knowledge and project management skills to integre external programs with our services. You will learn new concepts and technologies, having the ability to take ownership for successfully integring clients with the system. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform Linux server administrion 

• Navige Linux or Windows opering systems using command line interface 

• Perform software testing or validion procedures, improving the procedures as needed 

• Perform system integrion and experience integring services from different systems 

• Debug software issues, investige root causes, and recommend fixes 

• Implement, evolve, and support authenticion, Single Sign On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), federion, and cloud infrastructure 

• Deploy and opere secure authenticion, access management, and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) technologies  

• Implement methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organizion's enterprise IT architecture 

• Perform Authenticion (AuthN), Authorizion (AuthZ), Digital Policy Management (DPM), Entitlement Management (EM), and Authoritive Attributes (AuthA) Leverage project management skills to manage a client’s integrion with our services  

Core Qualificions: 

• Navige Linux or Windows opering systems using command line interface 

• Perform software testing or validion procedures, improving the procedures as needed 

• Demonstred ability to document processes/ procedures 

• Ability to debug software issues, investige root causes, and recommend fixes 

• Excellent written and verbal communicion skills and extensive experience working with external 

• Active TS required to start; SCI/Poly eligible 

• SEC+ certificion or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certificion, or ability to tain certificion within 60 days of start 

• Bachelor’s in engineering, Computer Science or a reled discipline or equivalent work experience with 8+ years of relevant work experience, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree 

Preferred Qualificions: 

• SCI/Poly  

• System administrion skills in support of RHEL, SE Linux, Solaris, Windows, Apache, IIS 

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Scrum, and Agile processes 

• Knowledge of Oracle Identity and Access Management (IdAM) suite, including OAM, OID, OVD, OHS 

• Knowledge of authenticion standards using OAuth, SAML, or PKI 

Clearance Requirements*

Requires an active Top Secret security clearance upon hire and must meet SCI eligibility. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within the customer’s timeline after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigion and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informion. Due to the nure of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
