MANTECH seeks a motived, career-oriented, and customer-focused Phone Technician to join our team in Warrenton, VA. In this role, you will provide frontline IT support and handle phone system installion and troubleshooting while collaboring closely with a dynamic, team-oriented environment. This role offers hands-on work with diverse technologies supporting critical operions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Install, configure, and maintain VoIP and traditional phone systems, including handsets, headsets, peripherals, user extensions, voicemail, and call routing.
• Perform physical installion and setup of phone hardware, cabling, pch panels, and reled telecommunicions equipment, including work in network and telecom closets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve phone system hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordine with IT/network teams to integre phone systems with da networks and support system upgrades.
• Document installions, configurions, and maintenance procedures, and provide user training on phone system feures.
• Travel locally between customer buildings and support temporary assignments as required.
• Support coverage as part of a team opering between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The required shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Basic Qualificions

• HS Diploma and 11+ years of relevant experience OR Associes degree and 9+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with phone hardware installion, cabling, pch panels, and working in network/telecom closets and with VOIP/digital phones.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve phone system hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs) and integrion between phone systems and da networks.
• Experience supporting Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 or ler, and common business applicions.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP networking concepts, and standard IT support tools.

Preferred Qualificions

• Reled work experience in IT hardware and cabling installion.
• Experience with implemention of Sponsor’s network LAN infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple installion or service tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in technical help desk position and IT hardware/cabling installion.
• Experience with enterprise ticketing systems (ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM, Remedy, Jira Service Management).

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain stionary up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to move throughout buildings, access under desks, raised floors, and confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and move IT/AV equipment weighing 50+ pounds (team lifts or carts as needed).
• Must be able to ascend/descend ladders 10+ feet while pulling cables or adjusting equipment.
• Ability to opere computers, phones, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
