Orange Theory Studio Manager (Arlington)

The Studio Manager will be responsible for the overall operations, sales and customer service activities of the studio. They will provide leadership and daily direction to the sales and training teams and have a solid understanding of sales and operational excellence. They must able to lead the sales function and execute lead generation and marketing strategies to increase the fitness program sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales drivers (pre-sales events, studio events and outreach).
Responsible for overseeing the sales, the billing process and oversight of all OTF systems.
Empower, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of the sales and fitness teams.
Conduct regular staff meetings and attend all required OTF webinars and corporate meetings.
Develop a high energy culture through contests and incentive based motivation.
Manage, monitor, coach, develop and evaluate the performance of all studio Orangetheory Fitness training staff.
Model all studio activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
Manage client and staff concerns as well as daily operations of a fast paced studio.
Work directly with head trainer in increasing studio utilization and workout traffic.
Execute the company’s marketing and social media efforts to promote the studio brand and ensure sales and training staff are effectively participating in marketing and social media.
Ensure Orangetheory Fitness branding through consistency and continuity in all actions.
Compliance and adherence to Orangetheory Fitness & MDMS business and employment policies.
Responsible for HR related functions such as recruiting, onboarding, performance management, time and attendance tracking, payroll process, and training and development and employee relations.
Responsible for meeting performance metrics (KPI’s), revenue, ordering, inventory, payroll, cost controls, budgets and facilities maintenance in accordance to company guidelines.
Responsible for compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws.
Properly manage all Orangetheory Fitness sales and operational budgets.

Operational Duties

Responsible for 30-60-90 and annual Orangetheory Fitness staff performance reviews
Enforce Orangetheory Fitness & MDMS corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes.
Ensures that all front desk systems are followed such as proper Member Check-in, Telephone Inquiries, Guest registration, Cash Handling, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests and document scanning.
Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service.
Provide efficient decision making regarding customer service issues.
Plan and Promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using Orangetheory Fitness tools for effective outreach and community involvement.
Responsible for ensuring the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises all fitness studio employees
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving employee relations issues, and managing the company’s HRIS and payroll system.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Proven sales leadership and management skills
2-3 year of previous sales experience required
2-3 years of management experience required including directly overseeing all aspects of staff management from hiring, training, supporting, discipline and termination.
Previous management experience in the health and fitness industry strongly recommended
Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns
Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS office programs (Word and Excel)
Ability to work in a TEAM environment
Bachelor’s Degree required.
