Excellent opportunity for Experienced Helpdesk/Customer Service Technician. Multiple positions and shifts available. The Customer Service Technician will work as part of an IT Help Desk team responsible for supporting customer needs. Must have 2 years experience in which 1 year is in a IT Helpdesk position, as well as good communication skills. Functional Description: Provides assistance and training to the user community regarding use of computer terminals, minicomputers and/or microcomputer operation and user-friendly software packages. Responds to technical assistance, problems from users, and advises on solutions to communications and operations related problems or refers users to higher level technicians. Maintains records of contacts and users. Assists in the preparation and maintenance of user handbooks in training the user community. Participates as a member of a team or work group in the analysis of policy, planning, or problem issues that affect the applicable agency. Skills Requirement:
Windows 10 Experience Mandatory, Remedy experience a plus. Maintains current knowledge of the Windows 10 desktop environment, networking, access technologies, and applications. Has experience supporting large, enterprise-wide installations of Microsoft Outlook. This is a full time position (40 hours per week). Candidates must be able to work 40 hour weeks (i.e., 8 hour shifts five days a week, or 10 hours a day four days a week, etc.).

Education and Experience: AA/AS in a related field. Two (2) years work experience with a minimum of one (1) year in the computer field.
Education and Experience Substitutions: One (1) Year of experience may be substituted for one (1) year of education and one (1) year of education may be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
Since an AA/AS degree is normally considered a two (2) year degree, two additional years of relevant IT Helpdesk experience may be substituted for an AA/AS degree.
Four additional years of relevant IT Help Desk experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
