Vtg JET Wood Lathe, JWL-1236 with stand, added wheels, and a few accessories
In excellent condition.
(some light surface rust only)
This was my grandfathers - I am not sure exactly how old it is but probably from around 1960s - 1970s.
My grandfather (a gifted woodworker by profession) added a pair of wheels at the heavier end. The wheels are positioned just barely above the ground when the lathe is standing on all 4 legs, but when you lift the lighter end, the wheels engage the ground on the heavy end, making it very easy to move the lathe around in spite of its roughly 183 pounds.

(I forgot to include the dead center in the last photo of additional components, but it is installed in the lathe in the 3 photos that show a zoom in of the dead center and live center alignment)
Details: Swing over bed - 12-inches Distance between centers - 35-inches Speed range 550-3000 rpm divided into six undefined detents Head and tail stock tapers - MT2 Tailstock has live center Tailstock ram travel - 2 ¼-inches Motor - ¾ hp - (110 volt only). (Details taken from a website explaining this model of wood lathe)
Includes both chuck wrenches and a few accessory parts (shown in last photo)
