Dulles based trucking company seeks motivated Independent Contractors with your own truck for local Pickup / Deliveries. Commercial as well as residential. Occasional assembly on some residential stops. Whether you have 14', 16', 24', or 26' truck, we've got work for you. Cargo vans / Sprinters are also welcome, but the insurance requirements are the same. please, no pickup trucks or mini-vans.
We especially seeking 2 man teams.
We primarily work an area roughly 50 miles from Dulles Airport. Some longer distance hot-shot runs are also occasionally available.
Insurance Requirements:
* General Liability - $1,000,000
* Auto - $1,000,000
* Cargo - $100,000
Additionally a Workers Comp policy or Occupational Accident policy is required.
Once we get a properly completed Certificate of Insurance (COI) on file with the three liability policies shown we can have you on the road within 24 - 48 hours. An "Insurance Requirements Sheet" is available on request that can be forwarded to your insurance agent.
Contractors are paid for each stop, whether pickup or delivery. We pay 55% of each stop to the company. The more stops you work, the more you make. Two-man jobs pay a premium. Rates are based on weight and distance.
