Schedule: Weekdays (transport + in-house DSP support)Monday -Friday 7:30am-5pm and one hour break time.
Day support program in Loudoun County VA is looking for a reliable and caring team member to serve as both a Driver for morning and afternoon transport and a Direct Support Professional (DSP) during non-transport hours. This role helps individuals with developmental disabilities safely access services and supports them with daily activities inside the program.
Job Duties
Driver Responsibilities:
Safely pick up and drop off individuals for day services
Drive a Transit E350 van confidently and safely
Follow assigned routes and schedules
Assist individuals entering and exiting the vehicle
Complete daily vehicle safety checks
Maintain a friendly, professional environment during transport
DSP Responsibilities (when not transporting):
Support individuals with daily activities, community engagement, and skill-building
Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Complete required documentation and communication logs
Provide supervision, encouragement, and support
Work as part of the team to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
Must be comfortable driving a Transit E350
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Able to assist individuals physically as needed
Positive attitude and good communication skills
Must pass required background screenings
Preferred
Experience as a DSP, caregiver, or in human services
Previous driving or transport experience
