I am an attorney, a former law review editor, and a lifelong linguaphile here to help your writing shine brighter and hit harder.
I will work with any type of English writing, including emails, letters, social media posts, articles, papers, abstracts, blog posts, and manuscripts.
My services include typographical, substantive, and formatting editing, as well as critiquing, revising, rewriting, and fact-checking
I'm very flexible with pricing (min. $20), which will depend on word count, breadth of services requested, and requested turnaround time.
Why choose me?
1. My editing earned me awards from my current employer and the American Bar Association's Administrative Law Review. My writing has been published in legal, political, and student publications. I spend my days writing and self-editing legal documents, and I'm told I'm very good at it.
2. I am most familiar with legal, governmental, and political documents, writing styles, and topics, but my experience is broad. I've edited everything from short stories to business letters, and from scientific papers to history theses. I can help with long documents, short emails, and everything in between.
3. I can help you cite legal and other sources in Bluebook format. Alas, I am embarrassingly familiar with the Bluebook.
If interested, please contact me with a short description of your job. Next, we can set up a time to discuss your written work and my work on it. I will make edits in Microsoft Track Changes, leave margin comments (if you'd like), and return it to you. Then we can discuss, you can send me your revised draft, and we'll repeat.
Thanks for your consideration! I look forward to working with you.
Note: This is not an advertisement for, or offer to provide, legal services. Working with me will not create an attorney-client relationship. I mentioned that I am an attorney solely to apprise you of the kind of experience and training I would bring to your job. Thanks for your understanding.
