Q. Do you write resumes?
A. Not exactly… we provide a full service which includes research into the positions in which you are most interested, resume preparation (including future revisions), cover letters to accompany your applications, interview coaching and LinkedIn optimization. This service costs no more than other, “resume only” providers.
Q. Why is this so important?
A. The job application process is very similar to digital marketing techniques. Online searches are conducted with the use of keywords, or desired qualities. To be most effective, you must, as much as possible, mirror the keywords included in the job requisition on your resume. In searching resumes, for the term CPA is completely different from searching for PTA one search returns names of trained auditors, the other bake sales. We provide additional versions of your resume to ensure that the keywords for positions you are interested in are prominently displayed, and that the employment section includes the achievements the employer is most interested in.
Q. How much is this going to cost me?
A. ENTRY LEVEL (0-3 Years’ Experience) 100.00
MID LEVEL (3-9 Years’ Experience) 135.00
SENIOR LEVEL (10+ Years’ Experience) 150.00
Q. How long does this take?
A. When we have all the required information, I will get a first draft back to you within 3 business days.
Q. Is there a charge for “Expedited Service” like some providers charge?
A. We don’t offer an expedited service, as I don’t think it’s fair to let other clients cut the line simply because they are willing to pay more. Call us old fashioned, but it’s strictly “first come…. first served.”
Q. What do I need to begin?
A. You may email a previous version to firstname.lastname@example.org, and you’ll receive a FREE resume analysis which will explain the modifications we suggest to make your resume really stand out. If you don’t have a preliminary draft, contact us and we will send you a template which lists the information needed. In either case we’ll contact you for additional data to really make the resume stand out.
Q. What happens if I don’t like the result?
A. You owe nothing. No invoices are sent until you are completely satisfied with the final draft and are eager to begin sending applications. Competing services often require a deposit to begin work, and many will not send even a first draft without full payment. Others charge a higher price for telephone or email support; without this you’ll be unable to speak with the writer of your resume. Not at Resume Results… In this business communication is the key.
