**Job Summary:**
The Proposal Writer/Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in preparing proposals and managing administrative tasks to support our business development efforts. This position requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Proposal Writing:**
- Research, write, and edit proposals to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure proposals meet client requirements.
- Maintain a database of proposal templates, standard content, and past proposals.

**Administrative Support:**
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of documents, presentations, and reports.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reports.

**Project Management:**
- Track and manage proposal deadlines, ensuring timely submission.
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper files related to proposals and administrative tasks.
- Support the team with various special projects and tasks as needed.


- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in proposal writing or administrative support, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Canva, Google Suite, and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience with proposal management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal government contracting and proposal processes.
- Strong research skills and ability to gather information from various sources.
