This is the X Limited trim level with a large moonroof, factory navigation, back up camera, parking sensors, "puddle lights," heated seats, automatic climate control, and a power driver's seat. It has the "PZEV" emissions reduction package. It is equipped with the FB25 2.5L engine with a timing chain, so no periodic timing belt replacements are needed.
Completed maintenance includes a10k-mile engine from a 2016 Forester, installed, with 28k miles driven since replacement, for an engine with a total mileage of 38k, so there are zero leaks and none of the oil consumption concerns for which the FB25 engines from 2011 to 2015 were known.
The car has just been serviced in preparation for its sale, which included 4 new tires, changing the oil and filter, air filter, and a transmission service with new filter and fresh fluid.
As a certified technician I have completed repairs and maintenance myself. I would be happy to provide a list of service/repairs/maintenance.
The car is equipped with all wheel drive, is fully serviced, and has great air conditioning.
This car has the 4EAT transmission, rather than the CVT. (The CVT units have proven to be less reliable)
This is a dependable car that is driven daily between Silver Spring and Manassas. It drives and feels like a new car. And it looks great!
