Two third-floor rooms in our mixed-gender group house in Park View/Petworth are available starting November 1, 2025. Located two blocks from the Georgia Ave/Petworth Metro Station on the Green Line, our house has been a close-knit group house for 17 years. Each room is about 150 square feet with a closet and plenty of natural lighting. The third floor has a bathroom shared by those living in these two rooms. The monthly rent is $765 per month for each room, and utilities are about $75-100 per month per person. We would like to find someone who can commit to living here at least through June 2026.
There are currently 4 other housemates. We are a mixed-gender group in our 20s and 30s, many of us Christian, and have our own professional, personal, and spiritual communities. We prioritize our relationships with one another, value open communication, and have weekly house meetings. We buy groceries together and take turns cooking dinners for the whole house throughout the week, so you’d need to be comfortable with shared grocery bills and dinners together. We love hanging out together and celebrating each other's birthdays and special occasions. We prioritize keeping shared spaces clean and pitching in to maintain our yard.
Celebrating the good times with our community of previous residents, friends, and neighbors is important to us, and we hope you’ll join in.
