I am genuinely sad to be leaving such an amazing spot with such great roommates. If I were not moving out to live with my boyfriend believe me I would be staying!
The House:
A room is opening up in our fun and beautiful historic Adams Morgan rowhouse. This 3.5 story 8 bedroom 5 bathroom house features a lovely, large living room, dining room, open kitchen, and amazing back patio / deck space. The deck is the best for space for dinners, tanning, or backyard hangouts! The available room (~12ft x 11ft) is on the third floor and shares a bathroom with one other clean roommate (M). You'd have a small shared balcony that looks over the front yard as well as the biggest closet I've ever owned (3X7ft)!
The Neighborhood:
Safe and connected neighborhood with friendly neighbors, access to nightlife while still being calm. It's super close to a ton of bars, restaurants, parks but far enough away that the street is quiet and enjoyable.
~12 minute walk to the Red Line (DuPont Metro) and Green Line (U Street Metro)
Plenty of bus stops and a couple CapiBike docks less than 5mins away
The roommates:
We are a group of 10 working professionals and grad students aged 24-33. We host dinners, holidays, and Porchfest twice a year so definitely a good place if you're looking for a little more than just someone to share a space with. You can be as social as you'd like, but we'd love to have someone who is game to join in for group activities.
