-A few highlights:
The residence is located 20 mins from Wash, D.C. via car and about 45 mins
via public transport via a rush-hour bus. My residence is also 20mins from George Mason Univ. and 15mins to NVCC (Annandale Campus) via car.
Moreover, people headed to D.C., usually cue for Metrobus , # 29 ( 50 ft from house) and then transfer to their desired tube (Pentagon) stations once they arrive at the Pentagon station.
Alternatively, you can walk 15 mins to Columbia Pike to board a Metrobus #16. and transfer to a 16Y which takes you directly into Washington D.C.
Details: The 16Y bus departs from Columbia Pike & S Four Mile Run Drive (6AM-8:40AM) and ends at 14th St NW & I St NW., Mcpherson Square 30-45 minutes later.
Now, our closest Metro train is Van Dorn tube station circa 4 miles away.
The area/surroundings: The townhomes are tucked in a green oasis and on either ends there are shops….over 100 businesses are within walking distance of the townhouse- i.e. library, banks, supermarkets, restaurants w/ all types of international cuisines, numerous take-aways, fast-food, a floral garden oasis, Golf Course/greens 5 mins away, tennis courts, soccer fields, bowling, swimming pool, billiard, gyms/ martial arts/ dance studios, universities, colleges, day spas, auto repair, car washes, etc.
