PRICE: $1013 per month with all utilities included (gas, electricity, water, FIOS verizon internet). The deposit is one month's rent and will earn 5% annual interest.
LOCATION: The location and neighborhood is terrific. We are next to a park. This small, older complex has a small pond, and gazebo. There are wonderful walking trails nearby. Walk through the park and you are at Fairfax Towne Center. By car, anything you need/want is within two miles (Whole Foods, Costco, upscale outdoor center w/movie theater, Barnes and Nobles, Silver Diner, 24 Hour Fitness, F-45, etc.). One of our neighbors in the complex is a policeman and the fire department is less than two miles away. It is a quiet community.
ABOUT ME: I am female and retired from full-time teaching with FCPS. I tutor now from home and at local schools. I don't smoke or drink, and am looking for someone who wants a peaceful abode. I have two cats that rule. If you are not a cat/animal lover, this really won't be a good fit.
FULL DISCLOSURES:
*One of my two cats has an extremely sensitive stomach and throws up frequently. [The vet has given him a clean bill of health, it just is what it is.]. So, the rugs need to be regularly washed. This shouldn't affect your space unless you allow him in.
*One wall of the to be rented bedroom is next to the outdoor stairs and there is some noise from neighbors when they come and go in the mornings and evenings. It has never been a deal breaker for myself or others who have used that room.
OVERNIGHT guests:
For safety, liability, and privacy reasons, only out of town family members would be welcome to visit for short periods, with advance notice.
