The House: This is a spacious 4-story row house built around 2008, with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There’s plenty of room to spread out, so shared spaces never feel crowded. The second floor has a large living room, half-bath, and a bright kitchen with modern appliances, lots of counter space, and great storage. The living room is furnished with a flat screen TV and couch.
There’s a washer and dryer on the third floor, a garage (currently used by one roommate, but flexible), and easy street parking. The highlight is a shared rooftop patio—perfect for unwinding after work. A monthly cleaning service is included in rent, and the landlords are responsive and easy to work with.
Room Details: Rooms are spacious with hardwood floors, large windows, and ample closet space. They comfortably fit a full/queen bed, desk, dresser, and more. Bathroom access varies slightly by room but includes a mix of private half-bath and shared full bath.
The Housemates: You’ll be living with 2 other women in their early 30s who work in media/finance. The house is clean, respectful, and low-key during the week, with occasional hangouts. It’s a friendly, flexible environment where you can be as social as you like.
The Neighborhood: Unbeatable location—about a 5-minute walk to Navy Yard Metro, 5–10 minutes to Barracks Row, and ~12 minutes to Eastern Market. The Capitol and Wharf are about a mile away. Easy access to 395 makes commuting simple, and Pentagon City is a quick 10-minute drive.
Grocery stores are incredibly convenient: Harris Teeter (1 block), Whole Foods (5 minutes), and Trader Joe’s (15 minutes). You get the best of Navy Yard’s restaurants and nightlife plus the charm of Capitol Hill, all within walking distance.
About You: We’re ideally looking for a female in her mid-to-late 20s with reliable income. No couples or pets (per lease). Clean, respectful, and easygoing is key. The house is mostly furnished, but we’re open to discussing additional items. Background and credit check required.
